Xavi is the newest member of our family and came to live with us in April 2010. He spent his first 8 weeks in Hank, at Natascha and Erwin’s place, where he was so well socialized, that he wasn’t impressed by anything when he came to Malden. In the litter Xavi was already a very curious, open, happy and adventurous puppy. He had no problems with enjoying himself while the rest of the puppies were asleep and when Natascha used a barrier to keep the puppies inside the garden he just jumped over it. So we were prepared for no second of rest for the next…say…..12 months…….
But there was no need for that. Xavi was the sweetest puppy ever! He learned very fast and from the first day on, Luna was his big idol and roll model. They complete each other perfectly. Luna taught Xavi her rules inside and outside the house and showed him how to behave with other dogs. And of course…Xavi taught Luna how to be naughty, how much fun mud is and that poo really is edible. We are still very happy Luna is more the teaching-type in stead of the student-type.
Xavi is very self-confident and not easily impressed. He was already stabile at a young age. He is very friendly for both people and all kinds of dogs and loves to work with me. With Xavi we are training in obedience and we would like to train agility with him in the future. We are also attending some shows once in a while, because he seems to grow out to be very nice both inside and outside. Xavi makes a party of everything with his positive energy, so also in the showring a wagging tail en kisses for the judge are present! His great temperament, social behavior, openness, stability and happiness makes it a pleasure to work with him and go for walks with friend-dogs.
Xavi is truly a great addition to our family and the biggest friend for life! With his humor and wagging tail 24 hours a day, it’s hard not to love him!
I’m really crazy about him and I’m very thankful to Natascha, for giving us such a great boy!
