CAC/CACIB Hoogstraten (B) zondag, 08 januari 2012 19:55 Today we went to the CAC/CACIB show in Hoogstraten, Belgium. Xavi did an Excellent job gaining 1 Excellent in Intermediate class. We are very proud of him, not only because of his show results ofcourse, but he such a great dog in every way. Social, self-confident, happy, playful and sweet. Nick was at home with Luna when I went to Hoogstraten and she also got some nice quality time and a happy day. Although she was still VERY happy when Xavi and I came home. ;-) Now, sitting on the couch with one dog on each side, you realize again what a wealth it is, to have the two most wonderful dogs in the world...

The end of 2011... zaterdag, 31 december 2011 11:17 ...is the best we could have wished for! Today we received the last DNA results we were waiting for and they couldn't have been any better! Xavi is Blue Dilute free (D/D) and carrier of the Liver gene (B/b)!!!! We are so extremely happy!!! With these final results we have some really great news too, which will be announced very very soon!!! ;-) Now we are going to have champagne and celebrate this great news and our great plans for the future! We wish you all the best wishes for 2012, make your dreams come true!

Shownews and other news! dinsdag, 13 december 2011 11:55 Slowly the nice autumn-weather is changing in cold and stormy winter, but we still enjoy the nice and dry days of December! :-)
Yesterday we went to the CAC/CACIB show in Wijchen (only a 10-minute drive for us) and Xavi gained a great 2nd place Excellent in Intermediate class! :-) So again, we are very proud of our boy! In the meantime we are waiting for Xavi's results on DM, blue dilute and liver. We expect results any time now! Luna is also doing great, only she thinks it's really really cold already and time for her winterjacket. ;-) Last month I ordered 81 Hurrta Pro Winterjackets for all kinds of dogs here in the neighborhood. It's was really a big project and some work, but both doggies and owners seem really happy with the jackets, so I'm happy too! Xavi is still not sure about his jacket (weird thing!), but Luna is totally in love and would like to wear it 24 hours a day! ;-) And that's the news for today! And last, but not least, we wish all our RoyalRidgebacks-followers nice Christmas days and all the best wishes for the year 2012!!
